The Recovery Tree
The Recovery Tree is a powerful symbol of hope, reflection and renewal, creating a breathtaking space, where every voice can be heard. Situated at the heart of The Forum’s Atrium, this stunning life-sized tree invites RecoveryFest visitors to leave messages of hope, personal reflections or words of remembrance.
This bespoke installation has been expertly created by Event Trees, specialists in premium artificial tree design. Crafted in the UK, the tree is designed to be striking and bring a lifelike sense of calm and connection into the space. Known for transforming venues with custom, realistic designs, Event Trees have helped us bring this meaningful centrepiece to life.
The Black Dog Music Project
The Black Dog Music Project is a user-led Norwich charity that supports neurodivergent people and those facing mental health challenges, disabilities or social barriers to build confidence through music. Based at Earth Studios, it provides welcoming music sessions, workshops, one-to-one lessons, band opportunities and performances at local venues and events. Its relaxed, supportive approach helps members develop skills, self-esteem and social connections while enjoying the positive impact of making music.
Evolving Canvases
Evolving Canvases CIC, a creative wellbeing organisation rooted in lived experience, is collaborating with Together for Mental Wellbeing’s Norfolk Recovery Community to deliver workshops as part of an exhibition for there recovery festival highlighting personal journeys in mental health and recovery from substance use.
Founded by photographer Walshy (Street Shots), Evolving Canvases was developed from lived experience of substance use & mental health challenges.
The organisation is guided by its ethos Creativity Creating Change, using creativity as a tool for self-expression, identity, and recovery.
Status Creative
Music and the arts supporting wellbeingStatus Creative CIC objectives are to carry out creative activities which benefit and improve the well being of the community and to provide opportunities for expression. In particular those with mental health, in recovery from addiction, members of community with disabilities, in poverty or isolation, domestic abuse, refugees, BAME and minority, LGBTQUIA+ and anyone marginalised by society.
